{ Mummy's Birthday, My Adventure }

Mummy received a call and got me ready in a hurry. And, it was really one of the best day in my (short) life!
The first thing I noticed when I came out of my carrier is this:
*yummy!! Cheese tarts and biscuits from U.S. Dog Bakery! How can I miss this right? As you know, I'm crazy about foooddd.
Then I noticed that I was in such a beautiful room with such a nice bed!
It was a really nice room with a outdoor garden and bathtub! There were mirrors all over and I was so excited at seeing another dog which looks and act like me that I barked at it. Well, Mummy was so shocked at my bark that she hurriedly came to distract me. Afterall, I'm an 'illegal immigrant'.
Seriously, that bed is so comfy! I'm still dreaming of it every night. And those covers...*drools.
After watching some Tennis and this Federer guy, Mummy got me dressed and it was time to head outside! I was tucked into my carrier and I kept really quiet though I heard lots of noises.

I think I went on a train. And we reached Clark Quay.

Mummy got me out soon after and I got to walk on the streets in Clark Quay, along Singapore River. Seriously, it's special because you don't see many dogs walking in the city area here.

Before I knew it, we were at this dog cafe! I liked the design and there were quite a few dogs in there! All of them were leash-free and played with each other while the hoomans ate.

And of course, there's a dog menu too. Here's mine, its some meatloaf I think.

I polished it up in mere seconds. *licks. And the best thing was, I got to eat another portion from the other dog's bowl. He's one weird guy who didn't finish his food and his owner allowed me to eat that. And guess what? I polished everything up again!!! That was really a feast. Theirs was some brown rice thing, which tasted good too.

I played nice with the dogs there though one terrier kept barking at me because I followed him around. Well, I think he's just, trying to act tough. I'm sure he enjoyed my company. And there's so many dogs who tried to sniff me. Perhaps it's my long body, but I can hardly sniff them while they sniffed me!

It was time to leave after awhile and that's a parting shot with the SPCA dog at the entrance.

And to prove that I've been to Clark Quay and Singapore River, here's a picture of me on the bridge there.

No prizes for guessing what's in there.

We went back to cut cake at the outdoor garder after dinner. And I feel special, like it was my barkday! I wonder if I'll have a nice cake like that too.

I spent the night in the...toilet! Oh well, I had this really nice cloth for a bed, but still, it's nowhere near the comfy bed which Daddy and Mummy had all to themselves. I think Mummy is still tramatised by the times when I woke her up at 5am, 6am, 7am, 8am and 9am that she refuse to let me sleep with her anymore. *pouts.

So the next morning, they went downstairs for breakfast and left me alone in the toilet after feeding me breakfast. And when they came back, they got me some weird red thing.

They say that it's a strawberry. But I hated it. The only thing which I don't gobble up is bread and strawberry. Mummy thinks it's weird, especially it seems like all dogs love the Japanese bread treat.

After that was a skinny dip in the tub. They tried to make me swim, but it's pointless because I can jump up to stand at the edge of the tub.

So instead of swimming, I was standing all the time.

They gave up eventually though. And I get huddled up in a big big towel.

I got to laze on the bed while Mummy and Daddy packed things up.

Hee. That's a wink. They realised that I don't blink both eyes together like hoomans do. I wink, or rather blink my eyes one at a time. Thus, there are many pictures of me winking. Am I weird or do all doggies 'wink'?

Ahhh. It was really really comfy.

Then I started to watch this flat board which was on the mirrors. The one in Mummy's room look more like a box, but this is a flat board with moving pictures and sounds. It's cool!

I got a little cold and climbed into the covers. Mummy caught me in action. *hee.

My greatest adventure came to an end as Mummy put me into the carrier and the next thing I know, I'm back home.

I'm still missing THAT bed. Thought it's nice to cuddle with Mummy and fall asleep in her arms, I still can't forget THAT bed. Oh well..I hope Mummy can have more birthdays, like...everyday!

It's raining really heavy this Sunday. *yawns. And I got to sleep on Mummy. I don't think I'm going to have a walk today anymore.

I hope you dogs had a great weekend!

{ Just for Laughs }

So I read that many of my friends are showing their tongues, all of them look so cute! Well, I seldom show my tongue, except when I'm panting but it's impossible to take a picture when I'm like racing ahead.

So that day, Mummy brought me to walk all the way to the train station to pick Daddy up. I was sitting outside the train station (because I'm not allowed inside the station), panting. And Mummy managed to get a shot, though not a very good one with her handphone.

I've got a pinkish tongue. Hee. Whoever saw this picture laughed. *hrmpz. I hope they're not laughing AT me you know.

This was worst. Daddy was trying to get a nice shot of me on the hotel bed. But it turned out this way! He was laughing non-stop when he showed Mummy the picture. Mummy guessed I yawned with my mouth wide open, but Daddy said it was even better than that. So, I got laughed at again!

So I reckon I'll do a good deed and let you readers have a good laugh.

{ Walkies & Me }

I've been enjoying my walks very much. Mummy brings me out for walks at 8-ish almost every weekday. And I'm doing 2km walks now! Daddy commented that I look skinny, but 'big'. Hahas! Isn't that contradicting? What he means is that I'm skinny (he can see my ribs) yet my legs look so muscular.
Here's a picture of me after my walk. What do you think? I'm all tired-out and couldn't be bothered about Mummy who was snapping away. As I said, the lightings in Mummy's room sucked, and I dislike taking pictures with flash. It makes me look weird and sometimes my eyes turn red or pink. It's really scary you know!
And sometimes, when they have nothing better to do, they play with me. Or rather treat me as their toy! *Grrrrr
I've been busy this weekend. Daddy celebrated Mummy's birthday and I'm so happy that I'm a part of the celebrations! We took so many pictures!
I'm trying to get Mummy to upload them up so that I can show you all. All I can say now is that, I stayed in a nice Boutique hotel for a night, got under the covers (which was really comfy), had a bath in the tub, tried strawberries, had cheese tarts, went to a pet cafe which had lots of dogs, walked on the streets along Clark Quay and had 2 train rides!
Thankfully, I didn't get found out and I had a pawsome time!
Why? Because the bed and covers was so comfy and that I did so many 'illegal' things! =P
Meanwhile, I just recovered from my pleasant 'shock' and tomorrow, Mummy's best friends are coming over to celebrate her birthday and stay over! *yay. More pawties pleasseee!!

{ I'm Growing! }

18 Nov: 2.0kg
07 Dec: 2.9kg
04 Jan: 3.9kg

It's only 2 months and my weight has almost doubled! Mummy is quite amazed by the rate I'm growing and she says I'm getting quite heavy - her shoulders ache when she brings me out in the carrier. And obviously, I'm growing alot longer! So long that Mummy's Mum scolded her for not buying me a bigger bed for my head seem to be sticking out. Oh well...I don't mind a bigger new bed!

Seriously, I ain't all that big. The vet even said that I was quite lean and Mummy can afford to feed me more. But she thinks it's good being lean and those walks keep me lean. At least she's more generous with her treats nowadays. I get some meaty stuff after walks! *grins.

Oh, I heard that Mummy's birthday is coming and some of her friends is coming over for steamboat! *yay. I love pawties!

Did I mention that Mummy got a 'Top Dog' Scrapbook from her friend? It's so apt, for me! =D

Mummy's lazy to upload pictures, not that I've been taking alot since my walks are at night and it's too dark.

Have a great weekend friends! I'm glad you guys liked the song, I like it too. =)

{ Getting Comfy }

Mummy has been bringing me on walks everyday lately! We go after dinner lately, after it's dark. And I'm getting stronger, we usually do like 2km, with some sprints.

Mummy's addicted to the 9pm show on Channel 8 called Golden Path. Every night, after the walk, she cleans me up and bathe before cuddling me in her lap.

That's me looking orangy under Mummy's bedside lamp.

And that's me having my tummy rub. Mummy just keep rubbing my tummy as she has her eyes glued on the TV. I'd rather she look at me though, but I'm not complaining!

And here's another one. Mummy says I seem to be smiling. Well, I've been a happy boy recently. =)

These nights, I've been really tired after the walks. I've got lots of fun, but when I'm getting comfy on Mummy's lap, I fall asleep. And those walks have made me sleep really well these nights. *yawns.
Hope all my pawfriends are having fun too!

{ Updates & Pawty }

So much has been happening and I haven't had the time to update everything.

Firstly, Mummy brought me to K9 Kulture, this place which caters for dogs. There's a pool, a dog run, a massage place, grooming place, bakery and even day-care center. But when we went there on a weekday afternoon, that place was deserted! There were dogs in the day-care though, but there's basically nothing to do there. Even though Mummy wanted to let me try swimming, there's certain time slots and I've missed the time. Swimming is $12 a session, and the session depends mostly on the dogs, which will swim in groups with a trainer.

These big dogs in the day-care kept barking at me!

There was really nothing to do after Mummy went to find out more about the swimming and day care services. The dog run was covered with canvas, probably because it was raining or that there isn't many dogs going there in the weekdays. And since the grass was quite tall, I didn't like them poking into me (I'm quite short remember?) Yiyi and Cici didn't like the grass too, so Mummy and Daddy brought me away from the dog run. Even the cafe for hoomans was deserted! So Mummy brought me to U.S. Dog Bakery there and got me some food.

The lady there served me a meatloaf which Mummy chose for me. It was in a plate with knife and fork! Did they mistaken me for a hooman?? I gobbled it up in no time and drank some water from the bowl they provided. *yummy. But too bad there wasn't cookies there, else I can make Mummy buy some for me. I loved the cookies she bought the last time!

Life's good since Mummy's back from holidays. I'm kept nice and clean, and my area is contstantly cleaned. But the best thing is that I've got lots of company as Mummy is home alot lately. She plays with me and brings me for walks almost everyday. That makes me a really happy puppy.

When Mummy is trying to study and rush assignments, I'm sitting right by her chair, in my bed, looking at her. I was hoping that she dump her books and come play with me instead. Isn't it obvious that I'm alot more fun than those books??

Sometimes when I'm bored I play with the ginger bread man toy Daddy bought me for Christmas. He's really quite strong! His ribbon and head hasn't dropped off though I've been biting it violently! *hrmpz. I think I need to bite it more. But I only get to bite it when I'm in Mummy's room.
On the 30th, Mummy brought me out to a pawty! I was really excited because she gave me a dry bath again, to make sure I'm nice-smelling when I'm going to meet alot of people. She asked me if I would like to go 'gai-gai' (means going out). Of course I wanted to! My tail kept wagging and I let her groom me. I even stayed in my area quietly, waiting at the door while Mummy went to bathe and prepare for the pawty.
Evening finally came and Mummy came to pick, put on a SuperDog tee for me! Daddy came to pick us up after awhile and I was really happy!
At first, I was really fascinated by the cars and moving trees outside. Boy, they run faster than me!
I soon grew tired and lay on Mummy's lap instead. Those running trees were making me dizzy.
As we reached there quite early, about 5pm, the pawty hasn't started. Mummy and Daddy brought me out for a walk around there. They brought me to a pet shop opposite called 'Joy Doggy' and bought me a new tennis-rope toy! I love it! The tennis balls are all furry now because I bit them really hard.
And while I was there, Mummy's cousin got me this tennis ball which I loved! Tennis balls are my new-found love.
And her cousin was playing with me alot of the time. In fact all the children there loved me and it was quite tiring playing for hours with SooOoOooOO many kids! It got me really excited.
I got tired after sometime and I ended up on Mummy's lap again.
And Daddy's lap too. In fact, I was on countless people's lap that night.
Then I noticed that all of them were standing around something, with an electric fan. I saw many red things flying out from it!
Mummy brought me closer and to my horror, I saw this! It was really hot and looks quite scary. They even joked about putting me on it to make a 'hotdog'!!! That scared the hell out of me and I scurried back to Mummy's lap for cover.
After awhile everyone went outside while I was leashed near the door. All of them seemed to be having fun and there was ALOT of delicious food! The only bad thing of the night was that I wasn't offered any food at all! I know I had my kibbles, but those stuff looked really good after it was put on the scary flames! I just stayed there and look at them eat. Bummer.
Towards the night I was really tired and was dozing off on Mummy's lap. I was really tired after hours of action as the kids keep coming to play with me. I enjoyed the night alot and I've to thank Mummy's aunt and uncle for inviting us over, and allowed me as well. =) I didn't dirty their house, I just peed right outside their house (but Daddy washed it down with water).
Mummy says it's the first time she has seen me played till I was too tired to play anymore. The kids still wanted to play but I was dozing off on her lap, refusing to move even when she put me down. *heee.
But still, I love pawties!
Mummy brought me to the Joyous Vet for my third and last vacination today! *yay I can finally go out officially. We waited for like 2 hours because Mummy couldn't get an appointment, it was fully booked. Yiyi and Cici insisted on tagging along. I met many nice doggies there, especially this 3 months old schnauzer. We played quite abit and ran in circles, it was fun. I got jabbed in the butt this time and it didn't hurt much, I didn't even make a noise. The last jab on my neck was really painful, I kept yelping. But still, jabs make me feel weak.
I hope your new year was as pawsome as mine!
