{ Mummy's Birthday, My Adventure }

Mummy received a call and got me ready in a hurry. And, it was really one of the best day in my (short) life!
The first thing I noticed when I came out of my carrier is this:
*yummy!! Cheese tarts and biscuits from U.S. Dog Bakery! How can I miss this right? As you know, I'm crazy about foooddd.
Then I noticed that I was in such a beautiful room with such a nice bed!
It was a really nice room with a outdoor garden and bathtub! There were mirrors all over and I was so excited at seeing another dog which looks and act like me that I barked at it. Well, Mummy was so shocked at my bark that she hurriedly came to distract me. Afterall, I'm an 'illegal immigrant'.
Seriously, that bed is so comfy! I'm still dreaming of it every night. And those covers...*drools.
After watching some Tennis and this Federer guy, Mummy got me dressed and it was time to head outside! I was tucked into my carrier and I kept really quiet though I heard lots of noises.

I think I went on a train. And we reached Clark Quay.

Mummy got me out soon after and I got to walk on the streets in Clark Quay, along Singapore River. Seriously, it's special because you don't see many dogs walking in the city area here.

Before I knew it, we were at this dog cafe! I liked the design and there were quite a few dogs in there! All of them were leash-free and played with each other while the hoomans ate.

And of course, there's a dog menu too. Here's mine, its some meatloaf I think.

I polished it up in mere seconds. *licks. And the best thing was, I got to eat another portion from the other dog's bowl. He's one weird guy who didn't finish his food and his owner allowed me to eat that. And guess what? I polished everything up again!!! That was really a feast. Theirs was some brown rice thing, which tasted good too.

I played nice with the dogs there though one terrier kept barking at me because I followed him around. Well, I think he's just, trying to act tough. I'm sure he enjoyed my company. And there's so many dogs who tried to sniff me. Perhaps it's my long body, but I can hardly sniff them while they sniffed me!

It was time to leave after awhile and that's a parting shot with the SPCA dog at the entrance.

And to prove that I've been to Clark Quay and Singapore River, here's a picture of me on the bridge there.

No prizes for guessing what's in there.

We went back to cut cake at the outdoor garder after dinner. And I feel special, like it was my barkday! I wonder if I'll have a nice cake like that too.

I spent the night in the...toilet! Oh well, I had this really nice cloth for a bed, but still, it's nowhere near the comfy bed which Daddy and Mummy had all to themselves. I think Mummy is still tramatised by the times when I woke her up at 5am, 6am, 7am, 8am and 9am that she refuse to let me sleep with her anymore. *pouts.

So the next morning, they went downstairs for breakfast and left me alone in the toilet after feeding me breakfast. And when they came back, they got me some weird red thing.

They say that it's a strawberry. But I hated it. The only thing which I don't gobble up is bread and strawberry. Mummy thinks it's weird, especially it seems like all dogs love the Japanese bread treat.

After that was a skinny dip in the tub. They tried to make me swim, but it's pointless because I can jump up to stand at the edge of the tub.

So instead of swimming, I was standing all the time.

They gave up eventually though. And I get huddled up in a big big towel.

I got to laze on the bed while Mummy and Daddy packed things up.

Hee. That's a wink. They realised that I don't blink both eyes together like hoomans do. I wink, or rather blink my eyes one at a time. Thus, there are many pictures of me winking. Am I weird or do all doggies 'wink'?

Ahhh. It was really really comfy.

Then I started to watch this flat board which was on the mirrors. The one in Mummy's room look more like a box, but this is a flat board with moving pictures and sounds. It's cool!

I got a little cold and climbed into the covers. Mummy caught me in action. *hee.

My greatest adventure came to an end as Mummy put me into the carrier and the next thing I know, I'm back home.

I'm still missing THAT bed. Thought it's nice to cuddle with Mummy and fall asleep in her arms, I still can't forget THAT bed. Oh well..I hope Mummy can have more birthdays, like...everyday!

It's raining really heavy this Sunday. *yawns. And I got to sleep on Mummy. I don't think I'm going to have a walk today anymore.

I hope you dogs had a great weekend!
